Summary:
This UIP proposes the deployment of Unitus V2 on the Base network, including the SuperCharged Mode, Segregated Mode, as well as the Time-Locked feature, with a selection of assets enabled as collateral under the SuperCharged mode.
Abstract:
This UIP proposes to launch Unitus V2 on the Base network, with ETH, wstETH, cbETH enabled as collateral under the SuperCharged Mode to borrow stablecoin.
Motivation:
Unitus V2 is designed to bring its users to a new era of efficiency and accessibility by introducing the SuperCharged Mode, Segregated Mode, and Time-Locked feature.
The configuration of multiple modes and the new Time-Locked feature is a meaningful and strategic move that will complement the current Unitus V1. This will enhance accessibility and liquidity for correlated assets, unlock greater capital efficiency for long-tail crypto assets not yet present on Unitus V1, and provide an additional barrier against malicious activities, further safeguarding users’ assets.
Specification:
To kickstart, we recommend intentionally rolling out V2 on selected networks with a carefully crafted basket of assets and suggested risk parameters, following a comprehensive assessment including market risk, liquidity risk, and counterparty risk for all assets to be supported on Unitus V2:
- V2 will be firstly launched on the Base network
- SuperCharged Mode, Segregated Mode, and Time-Locked feature will be activated
- enable ETH, wstETH, cbETH as collateral under the SuperCharged Mode
Risk Parameters:
Here are the suggested risk parameters for assets to be supported under the SuperCharged Mode on Base:
